Practice AreasFatma Esra Güzeloğlu focuses on
international business law. She advises her clients on transactions involving
international sale of goods,
joint-ventures and distributorships; works for the effective protection of
intellectual property rights and provides
legal compliance assistance, particularly in the area of
competition law.
She holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland in the area of International Contracts and Arbitration where she graduated with the highest academic distinction. She pursued academic studies in relation to international sales law, comparing different rules of various jurisdictions to those of Vienna Sales Convention.
In addition to her expertise in international contract law, she represents her clients in their cross-border disputes by means of
international arbitration as well as
litigation.
She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association and a
trademark attorney registered at the Turkish Patent Institution.
She also practices in the area of
international family law, assisting her clients in matters relating to divorce, custody of children, adoption, property settlement, international child abduction and recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions in Turkey.
